Library Locations - Art Institute of Boston Library

The Art Institution of Boston (AIB) Library houses specialized collections of art monographs, exhibition catalogs, journals and images that support the visual art and design needs of students and faculty.  Currently located in Boston’s Kenmore Square, the library anticipates a move to stunning new facilities in Cambridge in the near future.

The Art Institute of Boston (AIB) library maintains and develops a focused collection that supports the fields of fine arts, art history, illustration, design, animation and photography.

Along with a circulating book and DVD collection of over 12,000 items, the library also offers a targeted journal collection, exhibition catalogs and ephemera, and access to over one million high-quality downloadable digital images.

The current facility offers media viewing space as well as group study space and large, open tables for individual and collaborative work.
