Undergraduate College
International Student Application Procedure
Lesley College welcomes applications from international students. International applicants must apply by the same deadlines as US first year or transfer students.
In addition to the credentials required for first year and transfer applicants, an international student must also submit:
- Test of English Proficiency: For students whose native language is not English, an official copy of the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) must be submitted. A minimum TOEFL test score of 173 (computer based) or 61 (internet based test) is required for admission in order to ensure a student's ability to participate successfully in the Lesley curriculum. Lesley also accepts the IELTS.
- Certification of Finances: Because need-based financial aid is not available for international students, each applicant must submit a certification of finances from a bank stating that they have sufficient funds available to cover the cost of a Lesley education ($48,135 per year if a residential student). International applicants are eligible for Lesley College's merit scholarships.
An I-20 form (necessary for obtaining a U.S. student visa), will be provided only after the student has been accepted and has submitted both the certification of finances and the required enrollment deposit signifying intent to enroll.
