Hands on learning

Internship experiences that begin freshman year encourage you to test out career paths, challenge your assumptions, maybe even cause you to change your mind. Our lens is global; activism is strong. We dare to think what may currently seem impossible — literacy for all, ethical leadership, and a sustainable planet — will become possible.

Diversified and unified

Lesley students are teachers, poets, art therapists, scholar athletes, world travelers, architects of sustainability initiatives, anime fiends, and skateboard champs. They've taught English in Rwanda, are working to save the Rainforest in Guyana, and love a good Red Sox-Yankees game. They are extraordinary in many ways and united in one — their desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

Not only is Lesley College rated one of the best regional colleges in the Princeton Review, U.S. News & World Report also ranks us as among the best colleges in the Northeast. Add to that the fact that 95% of our graduates, who choose to step into careers, are employed within 6 months of commencement, one third go on to graduate or professional school, and others opt to take the President up on his challenge to pursue public service by joining AmeriCorps.
