Undergraduate College
First Year Student Application Procedure
The Admissions Committee is interested in identifying students who have a desire to impact the world around them, in small or large ways. Lesley is a dynamic place and our students are actively engaged in learning. Their strong college prep backgrounds have given them an appreciation for academic challenge and motivate them to take full advantage of their college experiences inside the classroom and beyond.
Most successful candidates for admission will graduate from high school with a total of at least 20 college-prep units of study which would include the following: English, 4 units; mathematics, at least 3 units (Alg. I, Geometry, Alg. II); American history, at least 1 unit; and science, at least 3 units (minimum of 2 labs). Admitted freshmen will typically have a 3.0 grade point average or higher. Average SAT scores last year were approximately 1600 (includes CR, M, and WR scores). The average ACT score was 24.

- Personal Interview: A personal interview with an admissions counselor is a great way to get to know you beyond your academic record.
