Author bio

Karen Estrella, ATR-BC, MT-BC, LMHC, currently coordinates the Expressive Therapy specialization track at Lesley University where she has taught since 1990.  Professor Estrella has more than 20 years experience practicing expressive therapies and mental health counseling in community-based settings.  Her clinical, research, and teaching interests lie in the integrative arts in therapy, multicultural issues, and professional identity for therapists.
