Atina Andrea White
This study addresses issues surrounding Black/White biracial students in a multiracial student-run organization at a diverse liberal arts college in Massachusetts. The impact of United States race history on biracial individuals is presented. Insights of biracial individuals are reported along with suggestions for constructively addressing concerns of multiracial students.

Atina Andrea White holds an M.A. in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University. She earned her B.A. in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University where she completed an honors thesis, “Gendered Communication in the Work Setting. She is the Assistant Director of the Global Education Opportunities (GEO) Center at the Colleges of the Fenway (COF) in Boston, MA. In this role she works to build awareness of, support for, access to and participation in COF-sponsored international education programs on and off campus. Prior to joining the COF, Atina worked at Abt Associates and has been a consultant for Harvard Medical School and the Boston Public Health Commission, for which she did work related to cultural sensitivity and diversity.
