Tony Talbert

Tony L. Talbert, Assistant Professor in the School of Education at Baylor University. Mr. Talbert has written articles and book chapters concerning activist teaching, teacher empowerment and the development and application of education as democracy in and out of the classroom. In addition to his research and writing, he develops and models interactive curriculum and pedagogy materials to inform, reform and transform social studies teaching and learning. Dr. Talbert's teaching methods and research innovations have been supported and funded through local, state and national granting agencies. Whether in the classroom or capitol building, Dr. Talbert practices and promotes activist teaching and learning through democratic empowerment.
