"Allergies BEGONE! Using Food and Homeopathy for Allergy Relief" Workshop

Dillan DiGiovanni spoke about how to manage one's allergies primarily through diet change and the use of certain herbs and homeopathic methods.

"Dillan said the three top triggers and exacerbaters of allergies are sugar, wheat (gluten), and dairy. She recommended reducing or cutting out completely (from my diet) foods in these categories." -- May 25 workshop attendee

About the Presenter:

Dillan DiGiovanni, CHC, is a familiar face at Lesley University. She's presented at SRAC's Staff Development Day March 2011 and has worked one-on-one with several LU community members.

Based in Somerville, Dillan is a certified health coach (CHC) with over 12 years experience training, facilitating, and teaching children and adults. Her seminars cover topics such as nutrition, food and eating habits, supplements, and lifestyle changes. As a former teacher, she develops each talk to engage audience members in a conversational educational experience and encourage a "teacher/student" dynamic between all participants. She offers a variety of services, such as workshops, trainings, and coaching support through Savor Your Existence Integrative Health for groups and individuals wanting to enhance their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
