The Tuition Exchange Program & Council of Independent Colleges' Tuition Exchange ProgramLesley is pleased to announce that the Tuition Exchange and Council for Independent Colleges' Tuition Exchange program application process for the academic year 2010 -2011 is now open. Applications will be accepted through the Office of Human Resources by the HR Liaison Officer (John Barraco ext 8783) now through Monday November 2, 2009. Both programs consist of a growing network of colleges and universities across the United States that provide scholarship exchange opportunities for the dependents of eligible employees. In order to be eligible, employees must be full-time with at least one full year of service as of September 25, or benefits-eligible part-time employees (.5 FTE) with ten or more years of service as a benefits-eligible core employee. In order to maintain an adequate ratio of incoming and outgoing participants in the Tuition Exchange program, we continue to limit outgoing applications into the Tuition-Exchange program (TE) to schools that do not participate in the Council of Independent Colleges’ Tuition Exchange Program (CIC). For students interested in schools that participate in both the CIC and TE programs, applicants will be limited to applying for the CIC scholarship. While Lesley endorses scholarship applications, the decision to award scholarships is determined by the importing institution. The amount and duration of the scholarship is also a decision made by the participating institution.
