Learn to work with diverse student populations, think critically, and engage actively with educational technologies.
Students' performance in high school is of paramount importance to educators and parents. To help them succeed, teachers must have a firm grasp on subject matter, pedagogy, technology, and current research on adolescence, as well as an understanding of the culture of the high school as an organization. Our high school programs feature instruction in the subject areas as well as in adolescent development, assessment, learning communities, literacy, teaching English language learners, technology, literacy for diverse learners, and more. Through our comprehensive assessment system,
we offer continuous assistance in your progress toward state and
professional competencies, and feedback that allows you to refine your
efforts throughout your program.
