From her extensive background in ecology and anthropology, particularly within issues of culture, religion and upbringing, Abigail shares her passion for travel and exploring ecosystems with her students.

She has taught at Paul Smith's College in the Adirondacks and the Institute of Earth Education in West Virginia. Abigail also teaches part time in Gaia Education Outreach's Geocommons International Communities Program. She coordinated environmental volunteer placement opportunities worldwide while at the Traveler's Earth Repair Network.
