Judith Beth Cohen

I have been teaching at the college level since 1968. Before joining the Lesley faculty, I taught at the State University of New York at New Paltz, Skidmore College, Goddard College, the Harvard Business School, and Harvard College. My Master's is in Educational Psychology and my Ph.D. is in literature and writing. I draw from this interdisciplinary background in my courses and in my supervision of Master's and Doctoral Studies. My current students are working on such projects as Film Adaptations of Global Literature, Music Studies and Adult Development, and Memoir Writing and Dance. My recent projects include integrating yoga concepts into western education, and representations of women in post-colonial fiction.

Teaching

I have taught all of the core courses in the Interdisciplinary Studies Master's program, both on campus and in the residency format. As of spring 2007, I will be teaching a new core course in our Women's Studies specialization.
