Peace Train with Sharon & Shophi

Sharon Katz is known for founding and directing The Peace Train, the tour that had 150 musicians touring South Africa by train in 1993 and which is famous around the world for bringing diverse groups of people together and using musical productions to dissolve conflicts and violence. haron and Shophi do the work of The Peace Train in community projects in South Africa in the Cape and in KwaZulu Natal. There they are known as a dynamic duo who "convert gang members into band members." haron and Shophi are raising funds for the non profit "Friends Of The Peace Train" that enables them to implement their life changing projects both in South Africa and in America.

The two singers have been collaborating for the past three years in South Africa and America. Their recent appearances include sell out concerts in Durban, Cape Town and New York. Sharon's guitar work combined with both charming voices and Shophi's exciting Zulu dance, give the duo an edge to be reckoned with.
