American Association of University Women Educational Foundation

AAUW is now accepting applications for career development grants. One of the world's largest sources of funding exclusively for graduate women, the American Association of University Women Educational Foundation (http://www.aauw.org/) supports aspiring scholars around the globe, teachers and activists in local communities, women at critical stages of their careers, and  those pursuing professions where women are underrepresented. The foundation's Career Development Grants support women who hold a bachelor's degree and are preparing to advance their careers, change careers, or re-enter the work force. Special consideration is given to AAUW members, women of color, and women pursuing their first advanced degree or credentials in non-traditional fields.

Switzer Environmental Fellowship Program

New England and California graduate students are invited to apply for Switzer Environmental Fellowship Program. A program of the Robert and Patricia Switzer Foundation (http://www.switzernetwork.org/), the Switzer Environmental Fellowship Program supports highly talented graduate students in New England and California whose studies are directed toward improving environmental quality and who demonstrate the potential for leadership in their field.The foundation seeks to select a diversity of students from different schools, programs, disciplines, and career tracks in each fellowship class. Awards have been made to students pursuing environmental policy, economics, conservation, public health, journalism, architecture, environmental justice, business, and law as well as the more traditional sciences of biology, chemistry, and engineering.

Social Innovator Fellowship

Echoing Green opens social innovator fellowship application process. Echoing Green (http://www.echoinggreen.org ) annually awards two-year fellowships to emerging social innovators creating innovative new organizations. These social entrepreneurs and their organizations work to close deeply-rooted social, economic, and political inequities to ensure equal access and to help all individuals reach his/her potential. The fellowships offer them the opportunity to develop and test their ideas.
