Information about off-campus programs in Massachusetts and New England.
If you live in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Maine, you can take a Master of Education, Master of Science, certificate, or licensure-only program at one of our off-campus learning sites. Designed for busy adults, the weekend or low-residency format allows
you to know your entire program schedule
before you begin. The M.Ed. programs meet one weekend a month (Saturday and Sunday from 8 am-5 pm), one course at a time in each eight-week semester. The MS program begins with a three-week rural residency and then moves online until the following summer's urban residency.
For more information about any of our New England programs, contact Debbie Mosher at 978.973.1053 or firstname.lastname@example.org or attend one of our information sessions »
Many of the programs below are also available on campus or online. Check with an admissions counselor if you want more information.
See Graduate Education Programs Across the US for state-by-state information on online and low residency options.
Lesley was the perfect choice for me because of the flexibility of the weekend courses. The professors were wonderful and understanding that the class consisted of full time teachers, mothers, grandmothers, etc. with many obligations. The classes were designed for working teachers. I was able to integrate new material in my classroom after every course. Well designed handouts, websites, etc. were always available to enrich the classes. I grew professionally through the Lesley University Master's Degree Program as I fully embraced change and was committed to learning about best practices in Education. Lesley presented information that was on the cutting edge of Education. I gained a confidence in myself that I was doing what was best for kids. And.....I had fun. The 18 month experience was years ago, but the relationships formed during that time are forever. Lesley University encourages teachers to be life long learners. This is a philosophy I totally embrace.
