The Lesley Institute for Trauma Sensitivity is offering "The Impact of Trauma on Learning: An Overview" as a low-residency course, with a residency in Cambridge on January 13, 14, and 15, and online coursework thereafter. This three-credit course will examine the impact of traumatic experience on student learning, and provides a structured approach to individual and school-wide interventions. Begin on Friday evening with a keynote address by Joel Ristuccia and course material, and continue your learning on Saturday and Sunday. Cost of course: $1500. Scholarships of $1000 are available for the first 25 applicants. Apply by January 1, 2017.
