Application Instructions for International Students

• Complete and submit an Application for Admission. International students must submit application materials five months prior to program application deadline (if applicable) or intended start term.
  
  • download and print out the application checklist.
  • download a PDF of the application to send to us or you can request one be sent to you via email or through our online request form;
  • apply online - you will also need to complete the paper-based International Student Application (see the PDF of the application link above)
    
  • request an application through the postal mail by writing to us at the following address:

• Complete credential evaluations of any foreign academic credentials (if applicable)
• Take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) (if applicable)

• Financial Requirements Each applicant who is not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States and is requesting the issuance of a Certificate of Eligibility(Form I-20) for an F-1 student visa is required to provide documentation which indicates the ability to cover the first year of tuition and living expenses at Lesley University. Please do not send financial documents until after you have been accepted and receive confirmation of Estimate of Expenses amount. Please contact the Assistant Director of International Admissions at intladmissions@lesley.edu for Estimate of Expenses (EOE).
  

• In addition to the Financial Documents please submit the following items. The I-20 needed to obtain a student VISA will not be issued without the receipt of these documents.
  • Completed Immigration and Financial Declaration Form (IFDF)
  • Letter of sponsorship (refer to information sheet)
  • Copy of previous immigration documents (if applicable - refer to IFDF)
  • Transfer Form - if you are an international transfer student, you must have this form completed by your current international student advisor and provided to the International Student Services Office at Lesley University as soon as possible.
