When will my financial aid be applied to my bill?
The date your funding is credited (disbursed) to your student account depends on your program's delivery model.
Here are the dates for the 2017–2018 academic year.
Funds are disbursed after the add/drop period has ended for the semester.
- Fall 2017: Sept. 22, 2017
- Spring 2018: Feb. 8, 2018
- Summer 2018: Jun. 21, 2018
Term-based programs include off-campus graduate programs, Bunker Hill Community College, and online programs.

Online Undergraduate Programs
Funds are disbursed once you've reached half-time status (taking 6 credits in one semester). For example, if you take 3 credits in Fall Term 1 and 3 credits in Fall Term 2, your funds will post after Fall Term 2.
The disbursement date is usually 10–16 days after the start date for the 8-week term.
Funds are disbursed after the low-residency portion of your program has started. July 1 is the earliest disbursement date.
When your loans are certified, the U.S. Department of Education mails you a disclosure form and your disbursement dates.
