Dr. Song earned her Ph.D. in Art History with a focus on
environmental art and education. Her research and teaching focus is on
environmental art, public art, new media art, and multicultural
education. Dr. Song is particularly interested in using theory and
practice to bridge art and design with other subjects, and has been an
active presenter at art, education, humanities, social sciences, and
environmental conferences. Dr. Song is also an active and exhibited
painter and photographer.
