Fun Facts: I love coyotes, raccoons, crows, bears and most anything quadrupedal, furry or winged – and lots of other creatures too; I love to hike in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest where I call home and to read, mostly fiction – Haruki Murakami, Richard Ford, Carol Shields.
I am a well-traveled guide who wants to help you uncover your own passion and voice and to make work that comes out of those discoveries. The only criterion that matters: Does it work? The only way to get there? Make more work. The more you learn the more you learn, and the evolution of your work becomes more sophisticated, powerful, satisfying and speaks compellingly to others. This is true if you draw comics or build monumental installations.
