Dr. John Ivimey received his doctorate from Boston University with specializations in Counseling Psychology and Special Education. As a licensed clinical psychologist, John has over 30 years of clinical experience providing assessment and treatment for individuals experiencing social-emotional, learning, and a wide range of disabling conditions. Since 1997, he has taught graduate courses at Lesley University and Boston College in the areas of assessment, consultation, and special education topics pertaining to identification and education of children manifesting various disabilities. John also has extensive experience supervising interns training to become teachers in special education, as well as therapists and school psychologists.
