Dr. Hart divides her time between educational technology and the politics of Middle East security. She lectures widely in the US and abroad and is regularly interviewed in the media. She has worked with the US military on security challenges in the Persian Gulf, and serves on the board of the international organization Search for Common Ground. Dr. Hart has years of experience in teacher training and curriculum development in social studies. She developed the Growing Voters project to create and distribute learning activities on the US Presidential election for primary and secondary students. Since 2004 the materials have been used in all 50 states by thousands of teachers. hart@lesley.edu
