Deborah Bauch, MS, OTR/L, is an expert level trainer for
the Interdisciplinary Council of Developmental and Learning Disorders (www.icdl.com). She has worked for more than twenty years in pediatrics and Early Intervention. As the clinical cirector at the Astra Foundation, she conducts DIR®-based workshops for parents and professionals and has presented at local, regional and national conferences. She is an adjunct professor at Lesley University and teaches three Masters level courses in Greenspan and Wieder’s DIR® model. She also serves as a trainer for the Interdisciplinary Council on Learning Disorders (ICDL) and holds an Expert Level Certificate in DIR/Floortime®. She currently consults to school districts, works directly with children and families, and serves as a mentor for professionals. She was the 2008 recipient of the Margaret L. Bauman award for Outstanding Therapy Provider. In 2012 she completed her post graduate certificate in Infant Parent Mental Health. She is certified in Sensory Integration, and is a registered, licensed occupational therapist.
