Fun Facts: In her spare time, Christine is often found debunking myths surrounding the Bermuda triangle, yelling at the television during the morning news, creating strange sculptures she calls works of art in her metal class, and planning her next trip abroad.
Christine Mayor, M.A., is a Registered Drama Therapist (RDT), originally from the island of Bermuda and currently working as a clinician at the Post Traumatic Stress Center in New Haven, CT. In her drama therapy work, Christine is an active Developmental Transformations (DvT) practitioner and is greatly influenced by the work of Augusto Boal.Additionally, Christine serves on multiple committees in the North American Drama Therapy Association, and is currently heading up the creation of the first scholarly journal of drama therapy in North America. She is deeply interested in interdisciplinary work and the importance of fostering critical debate in the expressive therapies.
