Christine has taught in the ITA Creative Arts and Learning program for twelve years. She has a longstanding interest in encouraging the use of visual arts across all curriculum. She actively mentors artists of all ages.Christine is a founding member of Art, Accelerated, a loosely formed group of artists, writers and musicians on the Oregon coast. Their first successful show was held August, 2015 in Tillamook, Oregon. Currently the group is planning their third exhibition and several other events showcasing local artists, poets and musicians. Christine's most recent sculpture project, consisting of three, near life size, cement cows, was a joint venture with artist Heidi Clemens and the Ford Family Fund Tillamook Leadership Candidates of 2010. The cow sculptures are prominently displayed at three sites in Tillamook County.Her works have been shown in one-person and group exhibitions in places across the United States. She has been a member of the artist co-operative, Nanny Goat Hill Gallery in San Francisco and the SFMOMA Artist’s Galley. Most recently, she has been in group shows at the 114 Gallery, Portland, OR, Hoffman Center, Manzanita, OR and Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, TN. Christine's blog.
