Celebrating Scholarship: Identity and Leadership in the Context of Social Change
Community of Scholars is an all-day conference honoring inquiry, research, creative activity, and scholarship at Lesley University. All members of our community—staff, students, alumni, and faculty—participate in a presentation of the impressive scholarship that is currently being performed by the Lesley University community.
The 2018 Community of Scholars Day's overarching theme is “Identity and Leadership in the Context of Social Change." Leadership, in both broad and more immediate contexts, can contribute to change and innovation. Identity is a process of self-definition and can also be constructed by social forces and influenced by biological, psychological, social, cultural, historical, artistic, political, and economic factors, among others.
Please save the date and attend an inspiring and engaging day of paper presentations, panels, poster sessions, creative performances, open studios, visual images, media, experiential workshops, and more.
Students, faculty, staff, and alumni can submit a proposal here. Deadline is January 26, 2018.
