Atomic Learning
The New Atomic Learning: Online training resource for faculty, staff and students has a new look, new tools and new features.
If you have been one of the many in the Lesley community who have visited Atomic Learning in the past year, you know that Atomic Learning provides short, easy-to-view web-based tutorials on over 110 of the most commonly used software applications, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, PBWorks, Flickr, Blogger, Blackboard and many more (including the recently released VoiceThread tutorials). Atomic Learning is available through the myLesley learning portal.
Atomic Learning breaks down each application into manageable tasks and explains each task through a one- to three-minute tutorial. You can view a tutorial when you have a quick question about a program you’re using, or you can view a series of tutorials and master an entire application.
Some of the benefits available to Lesley University, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, include:
- Tutorials on more than 110 software applications
- Workshops on topics such as blogging, podcasting, newsletter design, presentation and more
- Self-assessment tools
- Spanish language tutorials
- Closed captioning on thousands of tutorials
To begin using Atomic Learning, please follow these steps: (Download these directions with screen shots to print and have handy. Click here )
