This intensive, face-to-face and online professional development helps literacy coaches to improve teacher expertise and student achievement in their school. Developed and offered by Irene Fountas and Lesley University faculty, this training supports literacy coaches in all aspects of their role.
In our nine-day Effective Literacy Coach Training, we will identify the critical attributes of a healthy, professional learning community for adult learners, and how to build it for your school in collaboration with school administrators.
Three (3) to nine (9) graduate credits are available for an additional fee. For more information on earning graduate credit, please contact Melissa Fasten at firstname.lastname@example.org or 617.349.8693.

"Thank you for your expertise. You are amazing in that you have an incredible depth and knowledge of coaching developing teachers and you all are able to come down to the level of the beginning coach and lead them along the development path. Thank you for your patience and ability to listen without judgment." — Pauline Brackett, Reading Specialist and 2013 Effective Literacy Coach Training attendee, Keene, N.H.
