Wherever you are on your education career path, our office can help you plan your next steps, keep you informed, and offer support and resources for Massachusetts teacher test preparation.
To obtain an Initial or Professional MA educator license, Lesley graduate and undergraduate candidates must take a Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education-approved program. Those who wish to get an Initial license must also pass required state tests (Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure, or MTELs) for that license. (Candidates seeking an optional preliminary license must apply on their
own, as Lesley does not endorse for this license.) See the state's Licensure Requirements Tool for requirements of any license. For more information on pathways to licensure, read How To Become (and Remain) a Licensed Educator in Massachusetts.
