Center for Reading Recovery an approved vendor for Massachusetts Race to the Top
Lesley University's Center for Reading Recovery and Literacy Collaborative offers 25 different approved trainings in on-campus and blended face-to-face and online formats; plus 32 approved in-district programs.
Literacy for All, the CRR's 3-day premier literacy professional development conference held in Providence, RI, is also available as a qualified offering.
How Lesley can help you meet the Conditions of School Effectiveness (CSEs)
Through the implementation of best practices supported by CRR professional development, schools can meet the following eight of the eleven state-specified CSEs:
- Effective school leadership
- Effective district systems of support
- Strengthened family-school relationships
- Professional development and structures for collaboration
- Aligned curriculum
- Support effective instruction
- Tiered instruction models, adequate learning time, and additional academic support
- Standards-aligned assessment and use of data to improve instruction
MA Race to the Top qualified offerings include trainings for:
- Individual teachers and groups of teachers, preK-2, 3-5/6 and 6-8
- Literacy coaches and specialists, preK-2, 3-5/6, K-5, 6-8
- School and district administrators
- School teams of teachers, specialists, and administrators; and
- School- and district-wide improvement support.
Graduate credits are often available, and in some cases included in the cost of the training.
