New! Exhibit Location Moved for 2011

To increase foot traffic and the opportunity for sales in the Literacy for All exhibit space, we will be moving the exhibits to the area outside of Wings 550-553 and 554-558, Ballroom A, and inside the Rotunda Room at the Rhode Island Convention Center–just outside of rooms where more than 1,000 participants will be attending workshops.

Conference Audience

This event is expected to draw Reading Recovery teachers and teacher leaders from around the country, as well as PreK-8 classroom teachers, reading and literacy specialists, reading teachers, special education teachers, Title I educators, and school leaders.

Exhibit Booth Prices

The new configuration of the exhibit space as a result of moving the booths to the fifth floor of the Rhode Island Convention Center has eliminated the need for the distinction between "inline" and "corner" booths. This year, there will be a flat rate for all booths.

Booth Assignments

Exhibitors with a long-standing relationship with Lesley University will be given priority in filling exhibit space. Preference will also be given to exhibitors who have participated in sponsorship opportunities. Exhibitor kits, table assignments, and maps will be distributed at a later date. Booth numbers will be assigned by Friday, Oct. 7, 2011.

Sponsorship Opportunities and Benefits

Company sponsorships make it possible for the Literacy for All program committee to keep the registration fees low as well as provide high-quality workshops for participants. Sponsors are recognized in the final program and on a PowerPoint presentation loop that educators view prior to all keynotes.

Rhode Island Tax Information

If you plan to sell merchandise from your booth, you must either have a Rhode Island Tax ID number or apply for a temporary RI Tax ID number at the conference.

  • Exhibitors cannot sell merchandise without a permit. The cost of a temporary permit is $10, which can be issued to your company at the start of the conference. Lesley University Center for Reading Recovery and Literacy Collaborative will issue the temporary permits.
