Dr. Jack Shonkoff: The Science Behind Early Childhood Development
Dr. Jack P. Shonkoff led a thought-provoking discussion during the
Conversation on Child Homelessness and Child Development event, Wednesday
November 2. A wide array of experts, educators, and students discussed
issues of child homelessness and development as part of Lesley's
groundbreaking Child Homelessness in Massachusetts Initiative.

Internships, and Teacher Education"
Moderated by Laurie Schoen, Lesley College alumna and founder of
United States 4 Kids. Part of the day-long event on Wednesday November 2,
the panel included Lesley faculty members:
- Dr. Joanne Szamreta, Professor of Education;
- Dr. Robin Roth, Professor of Sociology and Social Policy;
- Dr. Brian Becker, Assistant Professor of Psychology; and
- Dr. Heather MacDonald, Assistant Professor of Psychology.
