FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

A limited amount of financial assistance is available through the Julio Lobo Seminars Scholarship Fund. Applicants wishing to apply for financial assistance must include the following with their application materials:

• Financial Assistance Form [pdf]
• One-page letter describing reasons for requesting assistance
• Some evidence of need (e.g., tax return, work pay stub, other)

The letter, Financial Assistance Form, and evidence of need should be submitted with the Conference Application Form.

The level of financial assistance is determined by need. The $30 registration fee is not included in the financial aid award. Applications are reviewed, and students are notified of the decision by mail or phone. Financial aid may be considered taxable income by the Internal Revenue Service. Refer to the IRS Publication 520, "Scholarships and Fellowships," or a tax advisor to determine how this affects individuals' situations.
