Lesley Seminars Financial Assistance

Lesley Seminars financial assistance funds are limited. It is not possible, therefore, to honor all requests. Priority is given to applicants with a demonstrated financial need, and a willingness to make a serious commitment to a class. The Division of Continuing Education will review all requests, and students will be notified of the decision by phone or in writing.

• All requests for financial assistance are confidential.
• The amount of financial assistance will not exceed half of the tuition of a class.
• If a student receives financial assistance and subsequently transfers into a lower tuition class, the financial assistance award will be reduced accordingly so that the aid reflects the same percentage of tuition as the original financial assistance amount.
• Scholarships may be considered taxable by the Internal Revenue Service.  Refer to the IRS Publication 520, "Scholarships and Fellowships" or a tax advisor to determine how this affects individual situations.

To apply for financial assistance the following must be submitted:

1. Lesley Seminars Registration Form;
2. One-half tuition of the class and the non-refundable registration fee of $30 (no fee if registering for workshop);
3. Financial Assistance Form;
4. One page letter describing reasons for requesting assistance;
5. Some evidence of need (e.g., tax return, work pay stub, other).
