Credit Option Partnerships

The credit option process provides an opportunity to create partnerships with outside organizations through the awarding of Lesley University credit for an approved educational program or experience. It is important in establishing any partnership that the work enhances the mission of the University, the educational experience meets Lesley’s standards of excellence and that the partner has a quality reputation and is fiscally sound.

Lesley's partnerships include, among others:

• Facing History and Ourselves
• The Astra Foundation
• The Carroll School
• Center for Ecological Living and Learning (CELL)
• University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society
• Kripalu Center
• Alameda County (CA) Office of Education's Teacher Action Research Institute
• Laban/Bartenieff Institute for Movement Studies
• Massachusetts Elementary School Principal's Association (MESPA)
• National Institute for School Leadership (NISL)

The use of University resources such as classroom space, the library, etc. is not part of a credit option partnership.
