Attending Lesley University is not just about earning a degree, it's also an opportunity to take advantage of the rich cultural life offered by Boston and Cambridge

It's not just the rich history- such as the Freedom Trail, Old South Meeting House, USS Constitution, or the JFK Library.

It's not just the major attractions- such as the NE Aquarium, Arnold Aboretum, Franklin Park Zoo, Fenway, or the Garden.

It's not just the famous museums- such as the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA), Gardner, Science Museum, ICA, or the Museum of African American History.

It's all the "small" stuff about our corner of New England that makes living right here worth it: bike lanes, waterside greenways, and independent cinemas like the Brattle. It's the indie bookseller just up the street. It's the record store and comic book shop in the next square. It's all the fantastic coffee shops and music venues. It's the nearby Japanese eateries and bistros with other far-flung cuisines - Burmese, Nepalese, Oaxacan, Ethiopian, Peruvian, to name a few. And this is ALL just within walking distance from Lesley's campuses!

A new world to explore.

Even if you grew up in the area there are still places you haven't seen and things you haven't discovered. Take a step beyond Lesley's borders. There are a number of student groups that do exactly this. Join a student club or team up with international students - just gather your curiosity (and maybe grab a map) and go!
