Liberal Studies: Adult Degree Completion

Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS), individually designed adult degree completion program

Create your ideal career path through personalized studies.

Earn your Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in liberal studies with a completely customizable area of study. This is a perfect opportunity to design a program of coursework that is specific to your background or individual goals.

As a liberal studies major, you’ll work with an academic advisor to create a degree plan that’s in line with your prior learning and educational interests. Your degree plan may include on-campus classes, online classes, internships, and independent study, all depending on when, where, and how you prefer to take courses.

This is your chance to study what you want, maybe for the first time ever, and gain a degree that will jumpstart your future or accomplish a lifelong goal. And, you can transfer up to 90 credits toward your bachelor’s degree at Lesley, making it more efficient and affordable for you to fulfill the 120-credit degree requirement.

You can take this program on the Lesley campus in Cambridge, or off-campus at Bunker Hill Community College, at the DeMello International Center in New Bedford, or at Urban College of Boston.

Jackie nearly gave up on earning her bachelor's degree. Through Lesley's program, she was able to customize her degree, take classes she was passionate about, and get the support she needed to finish. After 15 years of taking courses and making little progress, studying at Lesley gave her the confidence she needed to achieve her goals. "Give yourself permission to succeed, and do it on your own terms," is her advice to other adult learners.
