VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available to Lesley University Alumni regardless of your past volunteer experience or ability to commit much time.

Alumni Council

The Alumni Council is the governing board of the Alumni Association and works to keep alumni connected to the University and each other. The Council meets twice a year to represent the 65,000 members of the Lesley University Alumni Association. If you're interested in applying or nominating someone else to be considered for the Council, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations.

Local Alumni Association Chapters

Help form a Lesley University Alumni Chapter in your area! Welcome newcomers to the area, host an event for alumni, or plan fun events for the entire local Lesley community. The possibilities are limitless!

Reunion Volunteers

If you're a graduate of Lesley College from the classes of 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, and First Alumnae, then 2008 is your reunion year! Reunion volunteers are needed to help be a driving force behind the successful planning and execution of reunion by helping to encourage participation from your fellow classmates.

National Lesley Alumni Volunteer Day

Join other Lesley University Alumni performing community service projects across the country. We're looking for alumni volunteer leaders and participants for upcoming volunteer events.

Class Correspondence Program

The Class Correspondence Program is a great way to maintain communication among your classmates. You'll be asked to gather your classmate's news and updates and to submit them for publication in the Lesley Magazine. The best part, you can volunteer from the comfort of your own home!

The Graduate and Adult Bachelor's Admissions Ambassadors Program

Volunteers contact prospective Lesley University students to answer questions and help recruit students. This outreach is facilitated by Teleconferences, Career Panels, Information Sessions, responding to inquiries via telephone and attending professional networking events. Ambassadors also gather on campus to participate in Open Houses. Expectations for volunteers may vary depending on the needs of individual programs.

Alumni Career Network

As a Lesley University alumni, you can offer career advice by providing information on your own work experiences to current students and alumni, mentoring them and providing guidance for professional development. View the Alumni Career Network.

Alumni Admissions Network

As a Lesley College alumna(us), you can represent Lesley College at College Fairs and College Nights in your community by joining the Alumni Admissions Network (AAN). As an AAN member, you "Wake Up The World" by sharing your Lesley experience with high school students and serving as a contact for prospective Lesley College students.
