:: Welcome to International Students

The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University welcomes international students to become part of our academic and creative community. We value the rich diversity of cultural experience international students bring to the University.

You will find the environment at AIB suited to your needs. Studio classes average 15 students per instructor, so you will receive much personal attention to support you in your artistic and academic growth. Our instructors are skilled at teaching students from diverse backgrounds. Thirteen percent of AIB students come from countries outside of the U.S. Currently we have students enrolled from 25 different countries including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Iceland, Spain, Great Britain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Israel, Venezuela, Mexico, and Canada, among others.

These students find Boston an exciting place to be; they enjoy Boston's wealth of cultural and recreational activities and feel welcome among the thousands of other international students. To find out what some of our international students say about their experiences at AIB, click on the International Students Speak link at the top of the page.

The University offers classes in English for non-native speakers, and tutoring is available for academic courses. Our international student advisor is on hand to help you with adjusting to life in the US.

I encourage you to visit The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University. You will find our college to be a supportive and friendly place where you can reach your goal of becoming a professional artist. If I can be of further assistance as you make your decision to study in the US, please let me know.
