ARTIST'S STATEMENT

In creating mixed media sculpture
inspired by animal, plant, human and rock forms,
I imagine a being that isn't circumscribed by social convention.
Inside and outside merge, gender is unclear, and the boundary
between organic and inorganic existence is blurred. As the mass
propagates and deteriorates, fuses and divides,
the potential for new existence emerges.
