Withdrawal and Refund Policy: Withdrawal must be in writing. Students must drop class prior to the start of class to receive 100% refund for tuition and fees. With the exception of a shorter course or workshop, students must drop class prior to the 2nd class meeting to receive 100% refund for tuition only. Students must drop class prior to the 3rd class meeting to receive 50% refund for tuition only. Students must drop class prior to the 4th class meeting to receive 25% refund for tuition only. Non-attendance does not constitute an official withdrawal/leave of absence. Students will be held responsible for all related tuition and fees.

There is a $50 charge for declined credit card charges and/or returned checks.
Student ID's will be issued and either mailed or given out the first day of classes.
This is a four-week program (seven class meetings for credit courses, four for non-credit.) In case of a class cancellation, the faculty member will schedule a make up class. Please note that on the first day of class, some instructors may not hold the first meeting for the full 3.5 hours. Please be prepared for this possibility.
Inclement Weather: When snowstorms or other severe weather conditions raise the question whether class will be held, cancellations will be posted for The Art Institute of Boston and/or Lesley University at 6:00 AM on channels 4, 5, 7, or on radio stations WRKO 680 AM, WHDH 850 AM, WBZ 1030 AM, or WCRB 102.5 FM. Throughout the workshops, students are taught proper care and use of valuable equipment such as digital cameras, photo enlargers, computers and output equipment, etc. Students who abuse and/or break equipment, beyond expected maintenance of the equipment will be held financially responsible for its replacement.
Credit courses are graded and will become a permanent part of the students' university record. After completion of courses, students may request an official university transcript by going to www.lesley.edu/services/registrar/transcripts.html or by visiting the Office of the University Registrar.
If a student misses a class because of the SAT or PSAT exams, it is considered an excused absence and the student may make up any work missed.
The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University reserves the right to use and/or reproduce images (photographs, video, digital, media) of students and student artwork for promotional purposes.
