Apply by December 1 and receive your admissions decision by January 1.
Fall Admission - Regular Decision, February 15
Preferred application deadline is February 15 with admissions decisions delivered on a rolling basis after January 15.

If you are admitted and wish to enroll at the College of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, a nonrefundable
enrollment deposit of $300 for commuter students and $600 for resident
students is due
May 1.
First-Year Student Application Requirements
The College of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies is Common App exclusive; all applications and forms can be found on the Common Application website.
- Application Form: Complete the Common Application
and return it to the Office of Admissions with a $50
application fee. (Please make check payable to Lesley University).
Apply online and the $50 fee will be waived.
- Complete the College of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies Supplement [pdf]
- Official High School Transcript: Please have your guidance
counselor issue an official copy of your transcript including courses
and grades from grade 9 to present. First quarter senior grades are
required.
- School Report: The Common Application School Report [pdf] must be completed by your guidance counselor and attached to your transcript.
- Standardized Test Scores: The New SAT Reasoning Test or ACT
with Essay is required. The College Board code for the College of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies is 3483. The
ACT code is 1850. For students whose first language is not English but
who are attending school in the U.S., we recommend taking the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
- Recommendations: One teacher evaluation [pdf] (from an academic subject area) and one personal reference [pdf] OR two teacher evaluations (from academic subject areas) are required to support your application.
- Personal Interview: A personal interview
with an admissions counselor is a great way to get to know you beyond
your academic record. Although interviews are not required as part of
the admissions application; it will give you a valuable opportunity to
see the campus, experience the atmosphere of the community, and get
direct answers to all your questions. On-campus interviews are
preferred, however, interviews via phone or Skype can be made by
appointment with the Admissions Office.
First-Year Student Application Procedure
The College of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies is a dynamic place and our students are actively engaged in learning. Their strong college prep backgrounds have given them an appreciation for academic challenge and motivate them to take full advantage of their college experiences inside the classroom and beyond.
Students offered admission presented a strong college prep curriculum with an academic grade point average of 3.1. Required course work includes:
- 4 years of English
- 3 years of math - including Algebra II
- 3 years of science - including at least 2 lab courses
- 3 years of history/social sciences - must include U.S. History
We strongly recommend that students take a fourth year of math, science, social science, and at least 2 years of foreign language.
