Self-Designed Degree Programs

Design Your Own Program at Lesley

Whether because of unique professional goals or a penchant for independent thinking, many Lesley students are motivated to create their own academic path and construct a customized course of study. Through our self-designed degree programs (M.A. and M.Ed. options are available), these students can build their academic experience from hundreds of on-campus, online, and experiential learning options.

While participants can live anywhere in the world, all self-designed program participants work closely with a faculty advisor who acts as advisor, mentor, and teacher. Graduates of self-designed degree programs have gone on to pursue doctoral programs, publish work, and establish themselves as leaders in a wide range of professional fields.
