Overview
Many areas of study throughout Lesley University offer the option of a Master's degree or a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS), which in some states is referred to as an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree. These programs offer teachers and other working professionals already holding a Master's degree a convenient and effective way to advance their skills and knowledge without the time and work requirements of a full degree-granting program.
CAGS and Ed.S. programs typically carry a 36-credit requirement, though some programs require fewer total credits. Participants benefit from the insight and guidance of Lesley's exceptional faculty and from collaborating and learning from a stimulating peer group of professionals.
