Earn two teacher licenses in one streamlined program. Combining skills in English and literacy, prepare to meet the diverse needs of students, and develop the vital reading, writing, and communication skills of a new generation of learners.

Complete the middle school portion of the program, and begin teaching while continuing toward licensure as a Specialist Teacher of Reading. Graduate with knowledge applicable to a range of settings, populations, and roles.

Student Teaching

Student teaching, a requirement of all initial licensure programs, is an opportunity to apply new skills to an active classroom environment and receive feedback from your supervising teachers and faculty. All placements are in an appropriate Massachusetts school, and are set up through our field placement office.
