Early Childhood (PreK-2) & Creative Arts in Learning: Initial Teacher License

Master of Education (M.Ed.), on-campus, off-campus, or teacher residency program

Use the power of creativity to reveal new ways of learning.

At Lesley, our education programs foster creativity in all forms, from the way you teach to the way you think about teaching.

In this early childhood program, you'll discover how to use the arts to educate all young children, including those with special needs and varied learning styles. You’ll gain a solid foundation in arts education and human development. Your coursework will foster creativity and individual expression, empowering you to inspire a love of learning in your students.

You’ll learn all you need to know about teaching PreK-2 students, from math, literature, and literacy to science and health. In addition, you’ll take arts-related courses that prepare you to infuse and enhance learning with fun and creativity. Courses in working with students with special needs and English language learners ensure you’ll be prepared to teach every student.
