Toby Atlas, Research Assistant

Toby's background includes a BS in journalism from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and three years of study at the Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA.

At PERG, Toby assists senior associates with various projects, including Cosmic Questions and CESAME'S IMPACT. Prior to working with PERG, she was project manager for Creating Lasting Links, a school-work program administered by the Lesley University School of Education with funding from NSF. Given her strong communication skills, Toby has worked in an administrative capacity at several other universities. She also had a three-year fellowship with the print department of the Boston Public Library.

Toby is also a visual artist who has exhibited widely on a regional basis. She has been awarded residencies to various artists' retreats, including the MacDowell Colony and Yaddo. Her work is included in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, the Boston Public Library, the Fogg Museum, and Wheaton College.
