Elizabeth Osche, Research Associate

Elizabeth has been working at PERG since the summer of 2006. At PERG, Elizabeth is deeply involved in the Boston Science Partnership, which is a five-year project partnering the Boston Public Schools, Northeastern University, and UMass Boston in order to improve the quality of science teaching at both the Boston Public Schools, and in university faculty.  Elizabeth is also involved in a number of other projects including Focus on Math, and assists on many smaller projects with data collection and analysis.

Elizabeth came to PERG after interning at the Education Development Center (EDC) for a year where she worked on the Child Care Quality Study, a six-year research project examining partnerships between Head Start and childcare centers in the state of Ohio. Elizabeth completed her Master’s degree in Developmental and Educational Psychology at Boston College in 2006, where she studied early childhood development, childcare policy, and home-based early intervention programs. Elizabeth also taught for two years at the Infant Toddler Children’s Center, an early care and education facility in Acton, MA.  When not at work, Elizabeth enjoys the outdoors, particularly boating, hiking, and skiing. She is also an avid sports fan, and is working on teaching herself outdoor photography.
