Strategic Planning Initiative

The Strategic Planning Process

As a University, we have accomplished much of what we set out for ourselves in our current strategic plan, The Strategic Plan for Lesley University 2009-2012 [pdf], which identified ten strategic priorities:

1. A singular focus on student success
2. Excellent academic programs
3. Dedicated faculty, staff, and administrators
4. Strong university partnerships
5. Dynamic enrollment management
6. Mission-driven technology
7. Community-driven facilities
8. Engaged Lesley alumni
9. Responsible and visionary fiscal management
10. Comprehensive friend-raising and fundraising

It is now time to work together as a community to develop a plan for the coming years in order to continue to deepen and extend our mission and prepare graduates with the knowledge, skill, understanding, and ethical judgment to be catalysts who shape a more just, humane, and sustainable world. Our strategic planning process will be guided by our core mission and values as well as a commitment to responsible fiscal management. A Strategic Planning Coordinating Committee composed of faculty, staff, and administrators will facilitate the process and will begin its work in the Spring of 2011. Community members are encouraged to share their concerns and aspirations with us in a variety of public meetings or directly with the Coordinating Committee via email: strategicplanning@lesley.edu.
