People and culture of mexico

CSOCS 3999.01 (Non-credit option available)
This course will introduce students to ancient and contemporary cultures of Mexico through reading social science literature and traveling for nine days to Mexico City and through the Yucatan Peninsula.

  • Guided tour of Merida
  • Experiential learning: Haciendo tortillas
  • Guided tour of Chichen Itza
  • Visit to Cenote X-Keken
  • Visit to Xel-Ha
  • Visit to Tulum
